At the dawn on the world, before the factions and kingdoms, there was only one. A lone explorer who sought out the secrets of the world. In his journey, he found four mythical weapons that held the power of the universe itself.

A sword of light, that could cut through the darkness.

An axe of power, bringing unmatchable strength to its wielder.

A pickaxe which held the knowledge the world sought to give.

And a book of destiny, who's pages told the story of time itself.

The explorer wielded these weapons with great strength, creating what he thought was the perfect world. However, by constantly holding onto these weapons, they corrupted his mind. One day, the explorer was told by a whisper in his head to combine the weapons, making the most powerful thing in the universe and allowing him to rule all. So he did, and when he did, he unleashed horror. From the combining of the weapons, he released a version of himself, dark and evil, who only wanted destruction to reign.

Realizing his actions, the explorer fought his shadow version, and in the end was triumphant. However fearing the dangers of the weapons combining again, he took precautions to stop that evil from returning to the world. He created the Guardians, an ancient race destined to defend justice and honor in the world, and gave them the pickaxe of knowledge so they may help the weak, though they soon would fade into the folds of the universe. Then he created the Ender Knights, and gave them the sword of light, so that they may bring hope to the world, even in the darkest night. He then hid the axe of power deep in a mountain, believing that power would corrupt even the purest of souls. Though, one day a young coal miner by the name of Prestiley would find the axe, and it would corrupt his mind.

Nobody ever knew what happened to the book of destiny. Some say it was burned and destroyed, keeping the knowledge from being used for evil. Some thought it was given to Time himself, so that he may keep the balance of the universe flowing.

And the explorer faded into legend...

Now, centuries after the legend of the explorer first was spoken into the universe, factions fight at each others throats. King Presriley of the Miners, with the axe of power, seeks to rule the world of the Xtreamx SMP with an iron fist. The Ender Knights seek for democracy and equality for the world, and the Guardians seek justice above all else. Each faction vying for their own version of the world, unknown to the dangers that lie elsewhere.

From the chaos ensuing on the server, The Agents of Chaos emerged, lead by the mysterious figure only known as The Director, they seek to destroy the weapons from the legend of the explorer, believing that if they were destroyed, the world would truly be free. Now, these four factions vie not only for power,
